Energy Points and Upgrades
Eliminating enemies yields energy points, the only resource for expanding or improving your defenses. You can spend points to construct new barriers or enhance existing ones, with upgrades increasing pulse range and strength. This creates a constant trade-off: build more barriers for broader coverage, or invest in fewer, stronger ones. The system rewards balancing immediate wave needs against long-term defensive goals.
Wave Progression and Difficulty
Each wave introduces a different composition of enemies. As you advance, waves become more complex, featuring faster enemies and tighter formations. The difficulty curve is gradual, keeping the game engaging without becoming frustrating. Players must adapt their strategies to overcome new patterns, and completing each wave provides a clear sense of accomplishment.
