Running the Night Shift
Your job is to keep a winter production hub running smoothly during the few hours of darkness. Raw ingredients arrive, get processed into finished goods, and must be packed and shipped before sunrise. The clock never stops, so every action competes with the next.
Workshop Flow and Bottlenecks
Several stations convert materials step by step. A bakery turns flour and sugar into cookies, while a woodworking area makes small trees. Those items then move to a packaging station where they become gift bundles. The real challenge is arranging stations so materials flow without clogging. If one station outpaces another, items pile up and slow the whole line. Between nights, you can rearrange the layout to fix bottlenecks and improve efficiency.
Delivery Routes and Deadlines
Once gifts are bundled, they load onto sleighs or other vehicles and head to specific towns on the map. Each town has its own demand and distance from the workshop. You decide which orders to fulfill first based on remaining time. A smart route can hit multiple towns in one trip, while a poor choice leaves some homes empty-handed. Sunrise is the hard deadline.
Upgrades and Strategic Choices
As you progress, you unlock upgrades for production stations, vehicles, and storage. These enhancements let you produce faster, carry more per trip, or store surplus for the next night. Choosing which upgrade to invest in first changes your workflow, and there is no single correct path. That encourages experimentation rather than a fixed solution.
Atmosphere and Interface
The game presents a cheerful winter landscape with softly falling snow and warm lights from the workshop buildings. Gentle, upbeat music matches the festive theme without distracting. The interface uses clear icons for each resource and building, so you can glance at stock and plan your next move even when time is short.
