Placing and Merging Tiles

Number Merge Block Puzzle asks you to arrange numbered tiles on a grid. A set of tiles appears at the bottom of the screen, and you choose one to place on any empty cell. When two tiles with the same number sit next to each other, they automatically combine into a single tile with double the value. Two 2s become a 4, two 4s become an 8, and so on. That doubling chain is the heart of the game: every placement either creates a merge or consumes space you will need later.

Round Goals and Board Pressure

Each round gives you a clear objective. Some rounds ask you to create a tile of a specific value; others require you to cover designated cells on the board. Early layouts are forgiving, but later rounds introduce tighter requirements that demand planning several moves ahead. The round ends when the grid has no empty cells and no further merges are possible. Because the board can fill up quickly, keeping open space is as important as chasing the next merge.

Limited Tools and Resource Management

When the board becomes crowded, you can use a small set of helpful tools, such as a hint or a reshuffle option. These are not unlimited, so spending them wisely becomes part of the strategy. A hint might reveal a merge you overlooked, while a reshuffle can buy breathing room, but neither solves the round for you. The tension between using a tool now and saving it for a tougher moment is a quiet layer of resource management.

Visual Style and Pace

The visual design stays simple and easy to read, with clear tile numbers and a calm color palette. That restraint keeps attention on the logical challenge rather than on distractions. The pace is relaxed, letting you think at your own speed, which makes the game suitable for short breaks or longer sessions. There is no inappropriate content, so it works for all ages.
